A thoughtful space to make sense of what feels difficult.

Areas of Focus

  • Trauma, PTSD & CPTSD

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Identity & Gender identity

  • Disordered eating

  • Emotional Difficulties that are hard to put into words

People often come to therapy when life feels full or difficult to make sense of. I offer a calm, thoughtful space to explore what's happening inside you. The work is collaborative and shaped around what feels possible.

What Changes

We pay attention to the experiences that shape your inner world and how they continue to echo in the present. Over time, this understanding can create more space and a different way of relating to yourself and others.

A thoughtful space to think.

My work is influenced by psychoanalytic psychotherapy, an approach that values curiosity about our emotional lives, relationships and personal histories.

Sometimes we are aware that we keep finding ourselves in similar situations, emotions or relationships without fully understanding why. Together, we explore these patterns and the experiences that have shaped them.

Over time, this deeper understanding can create new possibilities for change and a different way to relate to yourself and others.

About

I'm a registered psychologist based in Brunswick West, with earlier experience in nursing and several years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy training.

Before training as a psychologist, I worked across many nursing specialities, including emergency care. Those experiences brought me into close contact with people during some of the most difficult periods in their lives and helped shape my interest in how we live through distress, loss, relationships and change.

My interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy developed through a desire to better understand the emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape our lives. Alongside my clinical experience, this way of thinking continues to inform how I approach therapy.

My aim is to offer a thoughtful space where what matters can be explored with curiosity and care.

How I work

Therapy is a collaborative process. We pay attention to what feels possible, what feels difficult, and what feels important to understand. The work often involves exploring the patterns that shape your relationships, your emotional responses, and the ways you've learned to cope.

For many people, this includes looking at early experiences or trauma. We notice how past events continue to echo in the present and how these experiences shape your inner world. Over time, this understanding can create more clarity and a steadier sense of yourself.

There is no expectation to arrive with answers. We work together to create a space where what matters can be explored and understood.
